In 2020, The Nurso’s Creative Director & Owner, Marni Robertshaw, was busy juggling comedy writing and raising two children when she was suddenly diagnosed with breast cancer.

The Nurso Gives Back
Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Every October, The Nurso holds an annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day with donation tins, raffles and care kit donations.
From Mid-October to Mid-December donation boxes are open at The Nurso for the community to contribute little luxuries like lotion, books and cozy socks. Anything that will make a hospital stay over the holidays easier.
The team then deliver these beautiful care packs during the holidays to women undergoing breast cancer treatment in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Passionate about Animals
Helping animals find their FURever home is another cause close to The Nurso’s heart.
They’ve partnered with Animal Welfare League Queensland and Happy Tails, with in-person adoption sessions.
It’s such a joy seeing dogs and cats matched with a loving home.
