The Nurso Gives Back
Every October, The Nurso holds an annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day with donation tins, raffles and care kit donations.
From Mid-October to Mid-December donation boxes are open at The Nurso for the community to contribute little luxuries like lotion, books and cozy socks. Anything that will make a hospital stay over the holidays easier.
The team then deliver these beautiful care packs during the holidays to women undergoing breast cancer treatment in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Helping animals find their FURever home is another cause close to The Nurso’s heart.
They’ve partnered with Animal Welfare League Queensland and Happy Tails, with in-person adoption sessions as well as donation events and year-round donation tins.
It’s such a joy seeing dogs and cats matched with a loving home.
Our 2023 Care Kits For Kids QLD drive has started strong! Drop in and drop off an item for displaced or disadvantaged kids this Christmas 🎄 ⚽️ 📕
