Archontophoenix alexandrae (Alexander Palm)

Archontophoenix alexandrae, commonly known as the Alexander Palm or Alexandra Palm, is a fast-growing tropical palm valued for its elegant form, smooth trunk, and lush feathery fronds. It is widely used in avenues, feature planting, and tropical landscapes where height and a refined canopy are desired.

The palm produces a slender grey trunk topped with large arching fronds in glossy green tones. A distinctive green crownshaft sits beneath the foliage. Mature palms produce hanging clusters of cream flowers followed by bright red fruit.
